Sheepwalking – Seth Godin

Any keen observer of the world knows that resources aren’t limited to energy and other material goods. Each and every one of us is a tool, saleable into production for the right price. Is it often the case one reaches for a hammer can expects to tighten a bolt? Or does one reach for a pair of clamps to hammer a nail? Hardly… tools are predictable and steadfast. I believe I’ve been clear with the analogy…
In a more utopian vision perhaps we’d all reach some level of self actualization where each day we learn more about ourselves and grow closer to our cosmic destiny, but who the hell would pump your gas?
